Entre-deux (2004-2008)
I’ve traveled through Morocco several times, choosing to wander, to experience and then recreate another experience of elsewhere. Avoiding the exotic, the picturesque, even all—or almost all—human presence. But in the hollows and the edges of cities, always under construction, the emptiness—the site of every possibility. This is where I wandered, lost somewhere between the world as it is and as it might be—or might have been. Balanced on an unstable thread, this is the in-between I set out to photograph.
